The brief

Our partner’s PC strategy game had a loyal community asking for a mobile version. The game relied on precise mouse input, dense UI and desktop-class hardware.

Our approach

  • Touch-first controls. Context-sensitive radial menus and smart unit selection replaced hotkeys.
  • UI rebuilt for thumbs. We redesigned 40+ screens for reach zones and larger hit targets.
  • Ruthless optimisation. Texture streaming, GPU instancing and a rewritten pathfinding job system brought the game to 60 fps on mid-range phones.

Collaboration

Our pod of six worked inside the partner’s repository and sprint cadence, with weekly builds reviewed by their design leads. (Figures on this page are sample data.)
