The brief
Prototype, test and launch a hyper-casual hit with a single-touch mechanic and a marketing hook that reads in under three seconds.
Our approach
We built twelve greybox prototypes in three weeks and ran each through low-cost creative tests. Pocket Orbit had the lowest cost per install and the highest playtime, so it went to production.
- One-thumb control. Hold to charge, release to sling. The entire game fits in one gesture.
- Juicy feedback. Screen shake, trails and haptics make every near-miss feel spectacular.
- Hybrid monetisation. Rewarded ads and a no-ads pass, balanced to protect retention.
Results
The game scaled globally within eight weeks of soft launch. (Figures on this page are sample data.)
